Scientist, Molecular Biology / Genome Editing

Shape the Future of Genome Editing

A Japan-based biotech venture is developing a novel genome editing platform that does not rely on the CRISPR/Cas system. This proprietary technology aims to overcome the inherent limitations of current CRISPR-based methods, enabling new therapeutic strategies and next-generation drug discovery approaches.

The team is now expanding and seeking a motivated Scientist to join the research group and contribute to the advancement of this cutting-edge platform.

Position Overview

As a Scientist in the R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and leading molecular biology and related experiments that support the development and application of a next-generation genome editing system. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary scientists inside and outside the company to drive innovation from concept to application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and development activities to advance novel genome editing technologies
  • Design and execute molecular biology experiments and project strategies
  • Perform cell biology and biochemical assays as required
  • Collaborate with internal scientists and external partners to accelerate progress
  • Lead research activities with clear priorities, ownership, and agility
